The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Libya’s Government of National Unity, Taher al-Ba’our, provided a comprehensive briefing to heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited to Libya during a meeting to discuss the recent security developments in the capital, Tripoli.
Al-Ba’our underscored the commitment of the GNU to pursuing a path of stability and strengthening state institutions in a manner that reinforces its full sovereignty over all its territories.
He emphasized that the progress achieved on the ground represents a pivotal moment in establishing the principle of the rule of law and affirming that no entity is above the authority of the legitimate state.
Al-Ba’our conveyed the praise of Dabaiba for the efforts undertaken by the Ministries of Interior and Defense, along with various regular security agencies, in imposing security and upholding the law within the capital.
