The General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons has announced the collection of samples from 30 unidentified bodies discovered in Misrata.
The authority stated that, upon the assignment of its president, its teams immediately began their work after receiving a report from the Misrata Public Prosecution regarding the discovery of 30 unidentified bodies found on the seashore.
Specialized teams have initiated the necessary procedures and collected samples from the bodies to match them with the database registered with the authority.
The teams have also begun completing the remaining legal procedures required for the bodies that have been processed. Seventeen bodies have been buried in the Abu Qrein cemetery in the city, and the final matching report will be referred to the Office of the Attorney General.
