Abdul Hamid Dabaibe, the Head of the Government of National Unity, has lauded the efforts of the Attorney General, commending the establishment of two investigation committees. These committees will be tasked with examining complaints and grievances related to outlaw groups, as well as the recent incidents that occurred in the capital, Tripoli.
Dabaiba indicated that this initiative represents a fundamental pillar for reinforcing the rule of law in the country. He affirmed the seriousness of state institutions in confronting violations and holding perpetrators accountable, considering the committees’ work to be complementary to the precise security and military operations executed by the Ministries of Defence and Interior in the Abu Salim area. This operation, he noted, achieved its objectives in restoring order, asserting state authority, and uncovering the truth behind the events of the day following the operation, including subsequent attempts to incite chaos, block roads, and commit assaults of all forms.
Dabaiba highlighted that the integration of efforts between the judicial and executive authorities forms a solid foundation for enhancing stability and building the institutions of a rule-of-law state, which all Libyans aspire to.
