The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have condemned the aerial attack launched by the Sudanese Army on Monday evening, targeting a humanitarian convoy belonging to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in the Kouma area of North Darfur. According to the Sudanese Agency for Relief and Humanitarian Operations (SARHO), the assault resulted in the deaths of four convoy personnel and injuries to two others, along with the destruction of seven vehicles, based on preliminary statistics.
The agency stated that this aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, affirming that it directly threatens the lives of civilians and humanitarian workers who are exerting diligent efforts to alleviate suffering amidst the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Sudan.
