The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, on Monday evening, participated in the official ceremony of the United Nations Oceans Summit, held in the French city of Nice. Al-Menfi’s participation came at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, and in the presence of several heads of state and government attending the summit.
Al-Menfi’s participation in this international event underscores Libya’s active presence in global forums. This step also reflects Libya’s keenness to continue coordination with partner countries on political, security, and economic issues of mutual interest.
