The inaugural EPAIX 2025 Electronic Payment Forum and Exhibition successfully concluded its activities at the Tripoli International Fair. The event was held under the patronage of the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Issa, in a strategic partnership between the Central Bank of Libya and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The prominent event, which took place from 15 to 17 June, saw broad participation from local and international companies specializing in innovative electronic payment solutions, digital wallets, and cybersecurity. Representatives from various governmental and private sectors also attended, alongside a large number of individuals interested and specialised in financial technology.
The forum primarily aimed to enhance financial inclusion in Libya and accelerate the pace of digital transformation across the country by showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in electronic payments. It also provided a vital interactive platform for exchanging expertise and successful experiences among all key players in the financial and technological sectors.
The exhibition represented a significant and qualitative step towards building and developing a modern and advanced digital infrastructure for the Libyan banking sector. Participants lauded the event’s excellent organisation and the highly positive interaction between exhibitors and visitors throughout its duration.
