Abubaker Ibrahim Al-Tawil, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received Ambassador Senad Mašović of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Libya on Monday morning at the Ministry’s headquarters. The meeting was attended by Nadia Mohamed Masoud, Head of the Southern Section within the department, and several officials responsible for monitoring Libyan-Bosnian relations.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed the historical and distinctive nature of Libyan-Bosnian relations, reiterating their shared keenness to develop these ties across various fields.
The discussion also addressed the activation of a direct flight route between the two countries, acknowledging its positive impact on facilitating the movement of delegations and the exchange of official visits between officials in diverse sectors, in addition to supporting trade, economic, and tourism cooperation.
Furthermore, both parties discussed the importance of overcoming obstacles and resolving pending issues, thereby enhancing opportunities for partnership and bilateral cooperation, and contributing to the development of relations that serve the mutual interests of the two friendly nations.
