Misrata Free Zone Port has received several commercial vessels over the past hours, laden with shipments of wood, fuels, and iron.
Data issued by the port’s administration today, Sunday, indicated the arrival of the vessel “Sea Discovery” carrying 3,235 tonnes of timber imported from the Swedish market. The ship “Nabiha Star” also entered the mooring area with a cargo of 4,909 tonnes of rebar imported from Turkey.
Shipping movement data also showed the arrival of the fuel tanker “Derna” on a domestic voyage, originating from Al-Zueitina Port, with 2,300 tonnes of liquefied gas on board. Concurrently, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company’s berth received the vessel “Lady Sham” for the export of a hot-rolled iron shipment, estimated at 9,350 tonnes, with its destination not specified.
