Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis has confirmed that his country and Libya have agreed to re-examine the delimitation of their maritime boundaries.
In media statements, Gerapetritis added that he completed a series of contacts with Libya during his visit to Tripoli, following his visit to Benghazi last week. He clarified that his recent visit included multiple meetings with the Head of the Presidential Council, the Prime Minister, and the Libyan Foreign Minister.
He noted that these meetings took place in a highly productive atmosphere, leading to a joint decision to review key issues of mutual concern. These issues encompass the migration file, the strengthening of bilateral relations, and the matter of maritime boundary delimitation between the two countries.
