During an official visit to the Italian Republic, Lieutenant General Salahuddin Al-Namroush, Assistant Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, discussed avenues for enhancing and developing military cooperation between the two countries with the Italian Army’s Chief of Staff.
Joint training programmes on the agenda
During their meeting, both sides focused on several cooperation dossiers, most notably the discussion of joint training programmes. These efforts come as part of ongoing endeavours to elevate the combat and technical efficiency of Libyan army personnel, facilitated by the joint work of the “Libyan-Italian Military Cooperation Committee.”
