In an official broader regional tour encompassing several North African nations, the US Presidential Advisor arrived in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, on Tuesday.
Boulos had commenced his tour with an earlier stop in Tunisia, where he met with Tunisian President Kais Saied at Carthage Palace to discuss ways to strengthen relations and a range of political and economic issues of mutual concern to both countries and the region
High-Level Meetings in Libya
During his time in Tripoli, Boulos is scheduled to meet with several senior Libyan officials. Aiming to discuss cooperation files between the United States and Libya, alongside political stability, economic development, regional security, and migration issues.
According to diplomatic sources, Boulos will subsequently travel to Benghazi, where he will meet with various officials and influential figures, as part of Washington’s efforts to support the Libyan national dialogue and expand the scope of the US-Libyan partnership across crucial sectors.
