Major General Mahmoud Hamza, head of Libya’s military intelligence, held a series of high-level meetings with Turkish officials during his participation in the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) in Turkey.
Talks included meetings with General Metin Gürak, Chief of the Turkish General Staff, and General Kadıoğlu, head of military intelligence, alongside senior officials from Turkey’s Defence Industries Authority and executives from leading defence firms.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral military and defence cooperation, exchanging technical expertise, and supporting joint projects within the framework of strategic ties between Libya and Turkey.
The meetings also addressed regional and international developments of mutual concern, with both sides emphasizing the importance of enhanced military and security coordination to bolster regional stability and reinforce Libya’s national defence capabilities.
