Libya’s national men’s volleyball team is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming FIVB World Championship, set to take place in the Philippines this September.
Daily training sessions are underway at the Misrata International Sports Hall, with the squad scheduled to enter overseas camps in Tunisia and Egypt in early August. The camps will include friendly matches against both host nations, aimed at boosting physical readiness and team cohesion.
Libya has been drawn into a formidable group alongside Turkey, Japan, and Canada, three volleyball heavyweights. The team hopes to deliver a performance that reflects the sport’s growing momentum in Libya and signals its arrival on the global stage.
