Aliou Cissé, head coach of Libya’s national football team, has left Milan unexpectedly following the derby match in the Libyan championship’s final six, sparking widespread speculation about his future in football management.
Sources confirmed that Cissé’s departure came immediately after the heated clash between Al-Ahly and Al-Ittihad, which ended 4–1 in favour of Al-Ahly. The match was marred by player altercations, reportedly leaving the Senegalese coach disillusioned with his role, despite having overseen just one game with the team.
While no official announcement has been made, Cissé now appears to be at a crossroads.
