Arian Jolenreef, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Libya, formally presented his credentials on Tuesday to Taher Hussein, Director of the General Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, marked the official start of Jolenreef’s diplomatic mission under the Government of National Unity. Hussein welcomed the ambassador and expressed the ministry’s readiness to provide full support and facilitation to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Jolenreef thanked Libyan officials for the warm reception and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to expanding collaboration across political, economic, and cultural sectors. He noted that the Netherlands is keen to deepen its partnership with Libya and build on the longstanding ties between the two nations.
