Libyan House of Representatives Speaker, Aguila Saleh, held talks on Sunday at his office in al-Qubba with parliamentary members representing Benghazi, joined by Deputy Prime Minister for the Eastern Region, Ali al-Qatrani, to review the latest political developments.
During the meeting, the MPs expressed appreciation for Saleh’s efforts in maintaining the unity of the legislature and enhancing its performance.
Saleh emphasized the need to uphold the rights of all regions and ensure justice among Libyans, calling for an end to the prevailing centralization and marginalization.
The MPs reaffirmed their support for the General Command of the Armed Forces in maintaining stability, and for the reconstruction and development initiatives led by Libya’s Development and Reconstruction Fund.
