The National Oil Corporation announced on Sunday the production rates of crude oil, natural gas over the past 24 hours.
According to data published on the corporation’s official platforms, crude oil production declined by approximately 5,000 barrels, reaching 1.375 million barrels. Meanwhile, natural gas output stood at 2.557 billion cubic feet, and condensates reached a level of 53,849 barrels.
Back in March, the corporation launched a public bidding round for foreign companies to carry out exploration and development operations across 22 areas. Last month, it was revealed that 40 international companies had passed the first phase, with contracts expected to be signed with the selected firms by the end of the current year to begin investment opportunities in Libya.
