Libyan karateka Sama Al-Fritais dazzled spectators at the Arab Karate Championship held in Amman, Jordan, with a remarkable medal haul.
Competing in the under-50kg kumite category, Al-Fritais clinched two gold medals, one in the senior division and another in the under-21 category, demonstrating her technical prowess and physical dominance over top regional contenders. She also added a silver in kata, showcasing her versatility across karate disciplines.
The championship witnessed a strong Libyan presence, with the national team raising its medal tally to ten after two days of competition. Seven medals were secured on the second day alone, underscoring Libya’s rising stature in the regional karate scene.
