Dr. Mohamed Takala, President of the High Council of State, met Sunday morning with Turkish Ambassador to Libya Güven Begeç and his accompanying delegation at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli to discuss recent developments in the country’s political landscape.

At the start of the meeting, the Turkish ambassador extended congratulations to the Council President and members of the Presidency Office on their recent electoral victory, wishing them success in fulfilling their national duties.

The meeting addressed the evolving political situation in Libya, with a focus on advancing the political process toward a legal and constitutional framework that would pave the way for free and transparent elections reflecting the will of the Libyan people and fulfilling their aspirations for stability and development.
