On the sidelines of the Fifth National Scout Camp, two exhibitions have been opened: the first, “A Mosaic of Identity and Belonging,” showcasing traditional and handcrafted heritage items, was organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries. The second is a scout exhibition documenting the history and journey of the General Movement of Scouts and Guides.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industries, Nasr al-Din al-Fazzani, and the General Commander of the Scouts and Guides Movement, Abdul Majid al-Khazrawi. The atmosphere was festive, reflecting a sense of pride and belonging to the national heritage.
Both exhibitions offered visitors a rich experience that combined the authenticity of Libya’s cultural heritage with the deep-rooted history of the scout movement. This scene embodied the values of patriotism and belonging, highlighting the active role of scouting activities in connecting generations with their heritage and deepening community identity.
