House of Representatives Finance Committee Discusses Draft State Budget Law

The Planning, Finance, and Public Budget Committee of the House of Representatives has discussed observations on the draft State General Budget Law for the year 2025.
The discussion took place during a meeting held at the HoR branch office in Tripoli with representatives from the Central Bank of Libya and the National Oil Corporation. The meeting was held in accordance with the directives of the Parliament Speaker, Aguila Saleh.
Attendees reviewed the observations and worked on amending the draft to ensure a balance between revenues and expenditures while meeting the priorities of the current phase.
This meeting reflects the Speaker’s commitment to enhancing coordination among legislative, financial, and economic authorities to pass a transparent and fair budget that supports economic stability and meets the needs of citizens.
