Libya has officially joined the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Vienna between Abdullah Qaderbouh, President of the Administrative Control Authority, and IACA Dean, Slayana Taseva.
The agreement aims to foster joint activities, exchange best practices, and strengthen institutional capacities in oversight, anti-corruption, and anti-money laundering efforts. Qaderbouh emphasized that the memorandum will help enhance staff competencies, promote a culture of integrity and transparency, and safeguard public funds through collaborative training and research programs, as well as regional and international cooperation.
Dean Taseva expressed appreciation for Libya’s engagement, and at the conclusion of the signing ceremony, Qaderbouh delivered Libya’s formal ratification, granting the country full membership in the IACA convention
