Libya’s national Kyokushinkai team delivered a standout performance at the international championship held in Mahdia, Tunisia, securing a total of 40 medals across various categories. The event featured fierce competition from teams representing Tunisia, Algeria, Zambia, and Poland.
Libyan athletes earned 13 gold, 17 silver, and 10 bronze medals, showcasing a high level of skill and reaffirming Libya’s growing presence in the regional Kyokushinkai scene.
Among the gold medalists were standout names such as Ahmed Jamal Al-Tuhami, Ali Ahmed Al-Qurbouli, Idris Khaled Al-Shaheibi, Mohamed Mahmoud Zoubi, Mohamed Abdel Salam Al-Mahshhash, and Al-Baraa Abdel Salam Al-Naili, alongside other athletes who carved their names into the record of sporting excellence.
