As part of the Armed Forces’ 2030 vision to advance combat capabilities, Libya’s elite Sa’iqa and Paratrooper units carried out advanced airborne exercises in Belarus, under the direct supervision of Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar.
The training featured high-altitude jumps using oxygen systems, simulating behind-enemy-lines insertions in rugged terrain. These scenarios tested the soldiers’ readiness in harsh weather conditions, including strong winds and sudden climate shifts.
Participants relied on modern equipment such as altimeters and advanced communication systems to ensure precision and safety. The exercises demonstrated the forces’ high level of preparedness and their ability to perform under pressure, highlighting rapid decision-making and operational agility in unstable environments.
