A new group of personnel from Libya’s 87th Rapid Intervention Battalion has returned home after completing an intensive year-long training program in the Republic of Belarus, under the supervision of Lieutenant General Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces. The program focused on specialized fields including counterterrorism operations, sniper tactics, and urban assault techniques. This initiative forms part of a broader effort to enhance the operational readiness and tactical capabilities of Libya’s elite units, equipping them to respond effectively to evolving security challenges.
