The Central Bank of Libya is set to host the fifth edition of the Arab Conference on Savings and Financial Literacy, scheduled for May 12–14 in Tripoli. The event will bring together a wide range of central banks and financial institutions from across the Arab region.
Focus Areas: Financial Inclusion, Investment, and Economic Awareness
The conference will explore key themes, including financial inclusion, investment strategies, and the promotion of financial literacy across North Africa and the Middle East. These discussions aim to address regional economic challenges and foster more resilient financial cultures.
Bahraini Partnership and Call for Financial Awareness
The event is being organized in partnership with Bahrain-based financial firm Minamoney, led by CEO Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim. In remarks reported by Arab media on Tuesday, Ibrahim emphasized the growing importance of financial literacy amid rising living costs worldwide. He noted that the widening gap between financially secure and vulnerable segments of society underscores the urgent need to promote economic awareness and responsible saving habits.
