Libya’s Presidential Council President, Mohamed Al‑Menfi, took part on Monday in the high‑level meeting commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. The event was attended by UN Secretary‑General António Guterres and leaders of member states.
The meeting is held as part of the current session of the UN General Assembly under the theme: “Together for Better: 80 Years and Beyond for Peace, Development, and Human Rights,” amid rising global challenges and growing calls for solidarity and collective action to serve humanity and protect the planet
