In preparation for the upcoming North African Karate Championship, the Libyan national team has launched its training camp in the eastern region. The sessions are being held at Malik Sports Hall in Benghazi, ahead of the tournament scheduled to take place in Cairo from September 25 to 29.
The training camp includes athletes from the cadet, junior, youth, and under-21 categories, under the supervision of national coach Captain Malik Al-Arfi. The program follows a technical and physical regimen developed by the Libyan Karate Federation.
This phase aims to sharpen the athletes’ skills and boost their readiness, thereby enhancing the team’s chances of delivering a strong performance and achieving positive results in a continental competition featuring prominent African teams.
The coaching staff is also using this stage to assess individual performance levels and finalize the roster of athletes capable of representing Libya with distinction in this important regional event.
